BAGAN, Myanmar – Nearly 2,000 runners from 11 countries gathered at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bagan on Dec 6, 2025, for the 7th Bagan Race – Run With History.

Organized by RVIPS and China Daily, the event served as a festival of community and charitable giving.

More than a sport competition, the event's charitable mission was highlighted at a welcome dinner before the race, where a donation of approximately 23,000 RMB ($3,252) was presented to seven local organizations supporting education, elder care, and social welfare in Bagan.

Against the backdrop of ancient pagodas, participants chose between the 10-kilometer, 5km, or 3km Junior Run.

The run featured a diverse field of international visitors, local community members, and teams from the global network of academies, creating a sense of global unity of RVIPS.

The Bagan Race is a flagship initiative of the "Run With History" movement, which aims to celebrate lesser-known heritage cities worldwide. The event demonstrated how promoting active lifestyles and preserving cultural heritage can foster international understanding.
