
MOSCOW - The Russian military forces launched a coordinated strike against Ukraine's military-industrial enterprises, gas and energy complex facilities, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
The strike began on Sunday night and continued into Monday, the ministry said in a statement, adding that it used "high-precision long-range weapons, including ground-based and air-launched systems such as 'Kinzhal' hypersonic aeroballistic missiles and strike drones."
"Military airfield infrastructure, and repair bases for Ukrainian Armed Forces weaponry and military equipment" were also targeted in the strike, the ministry said.
The ministry said all intended targets were hit.

Additionally, air defense forces had intercepted a rocket from the US-made HIMARS weapon system and 365 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.
