Hong Kong stocks open up, tech index rises over 3 pct

HONG KONG - Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 637.36 points or 2.52 percent to open at 25,884.46 points on Monday.

The Hang Seng Tech Index, which represents 30 largest technology companies listed in Hong Kong, rose 3.9 percent to open at 5,984.8 points.
