KYIV - Russian missile and drone strikes on the Ukrainian capital early Friday injured 12 people and caused a partial power outage in the city, said Kyiv's Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The left bank of the Dnipro River in eastern Kyiv is experiencing blackouts and water supply disruptions, Klitschko said on Telegram.
The strikes, targeting critical infrastructure, also damaged two apartment buildings and vehicles, he added.
Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, said that 28,000 households in the Kyiv region were left without electricity following the attack on energy facilities.
In Brovary on the eastern outskirts of Kyiv, three apartment buildings, four commercial premises, and several vehicles were damaged.
