Chinese shares open lower Friday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.03 percent to open at 3,830.44 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.01 percent lower at 13,074.91 points.
