History was made at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium on Thursday when Tottenham Hotspur beat Arsenal 1-0 in the first North London derby soccer match to be played outside the United Kingdom.

The 49,975 crowd broke the stadium attendance record for the Hong Kong Football Festival match, with Spurs winning the Herbalgy Trophy thanks to Pape Sarr’s first-half goal.

Arsenal’s new signing, Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres, appeared for the Gunners alongside 15-year-old sensation Max Dowman.

South Korean superstar Son Heung-min led the Spurs squad alongside marquee signing Mohammed Kudus.
