Trump claims deal finalized with Pakistan

NEW YORK - US President Donald Trump on Wednesday claimed that the United States and Pakistan have reached a deal featuring bilateral cooperation in developing Pakistan's oil reserves.

"We have just concluded a Deal with the Country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive Oil Reserves," Trump said in a post on social media. "We are in the process of choosing the Oil Company that will lead this Partnership."

So far, the US and Pakistani governments have not issued formal releases about the deal.
