HONG KONG - Xia Baolong, director of the Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, delivered an address at the opening ceremony of the 5th Anniversary of Promulgation and Implementation of Hong Kong National Security Law Forum at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday.

Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu; Zhou Ji, director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and national security adviser to the Committee for Safeguarding National Security of the HKSAR; Zhang Yong, vice-chairperson of the HKSAR Basic Law Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee; Dong Jingwei, head of the Office for Safeguarding National Security of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR; Cui Jianchun, commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the HKSAR, and Major General Peng Jingtang, commander-in-chief of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison, also delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.
