Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) announced on Monday that Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd, CATL, has been added to the Southbound Stock Connect eligible securities list, with the adjustment taking effect immediately.

CATL was added to Shang-Hong Kong Stock Connect on June 14.

A Chinese mainland electric-vehicle battery giant, CATL went public in Hong Kong on May 20, marking the world’s biggest listing this year.      

CATL closed down 1.47 percent at HK$ 308.4 ($39) per share on Monday.
