The arrival of the lotus season in Hong Kong, typically from May to July, draws crowds of photography enthusiasts eager to capture its beauty at Shing Mun Valley Park. Covering an area of 340 square meters, the park is one of the most popular spots to appreciate the aquatic plant from the Nelumbonaceae family.

The lotus, often regarded as a symbol of purity and enlightenment, gently unfurls its petals in a delicate reveal, each layer tenderly enveloping its golden heart. 

Poised elegantly above the water, the lotus stands as a testament to resilience, rising from the murky depths with its bloom turned skyward, as if in silent gratitude for the day's glow.
