Several retired trains are now on show in a new exhibition at Hong Kong’s Hung Hom subway station, as part of a slew of events celebrating the 45 years of service of the city's sole railway operator – MTR Corporation.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 items chronicling the operator’s achievements in the past decades, including old staff uniforms, merchandise, as well as three retired train cars – diesel locomotive No. 56 “I. B. Trevor”, Yellow Head, and MLR.

Titled “Station Rail Voyage”, the event runs through the end of 2024.

Secretary for Transport and Logistics Lam Sai-hung attended the exhibition’s opening ceremony on Thursday.
