The M+ museum – new architectural wonder located in the West Kowloon Cultural District of Hong Kong marking the first global museum of contemporary visual culture in Asia – will open to the public on Nov 12.
M+ is one of the main drivers of the SAR government’s efforts to promote culture both inside and outside the city, being the flagship project of the HK$21.6 billion ($2.8 billion) West Kowloon Cultural District.
During a media tour on Thursday, Henry Tang Ying-yen, chairman of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, and Suhanya Raffel, director of M+, spoke about different aspects of the museum.
