Israeli missile attack targets Syria's Homs

DAMASCUS - A fresh Israeli missile strike targeted positions in Syria's central province of Homs on Thursday, state news agency SANA said.

The attack targeted the Qusair area in the countryside of Homs, it said, adding that the Syrian air defenses intercepted several missiles.

On Monday, Israel carried out a missile attack in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo. On Wednesday, SANA reported that three people were killed by a US attack in Syria's northeastern province of Hasakah.

The attack targeted a house in the town of Khirbet Jamous in the countryside of Hasakah, killing three and wounded others inside, according to the report.

It added that the house had been circled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces for hours before getting hit.
